My Beloved,                                                                                       

                I pray that my letter finds all of you in the best of health as we continue our Lenten Journey, culminating in the celebration of the glorious Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

                Pursuant to my letter of February 25, 2008, I am pleased to convey to you the following information concerning this year’s Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey Clergy Laity Assembly and Philoptochos Convention to be held May 11 - 13, 2008, at The Venetian (973-546-2250), located at 546 River Drive, Garfield, NJ. The Presentations and Workshops will address this year’s theme of:

“And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they

will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.” (John 10:16)

For overnight accommodations, a block of rooms has been reserved for our use at the Saddle Brook Marriott Hotel located at the intersection of the GSP and I-80. In order to secure the rate of $139.00 +tax per night, rooms must be reserved by Sunday, April 20, 2008. For reservations call 1-800-832-6254 or 201-843-9500 and mention “GOMNJ Assembly.” Further information regarding the hotel can be viewed on the hotel’s web page: www.Marriott.com/EWRSB Reservations made after April 20^th will be charged at $199.95 per night.

Furthermore, I am pleased to enclose the Delegate and Observer Registration Forms that should be returned to the Metropolis Headquarters by April 18, 2008, with the appropriate registration fee. The all inclusive Registration Fee has been set at $250.00 per registered Delegate and $250.00 for Observers. Of course, professional attire is expected of all Delegates and Observers.
